Dorothy Katsuko Nishimura, 80 of Wailuku, passed away February 7, 2017 at home.
Dorothy was born February 27, 1936 in Pu'unene to Katsuji and Hatsue Tomita. She worked at Farmers Exchange, Ooka SuperMarket and Shirokiya. Dorothy enjoyed playing cards with friends and going to Las Vegas.
She is survived by her husband, Adam Nishimura; sons, Brian (Mary ann), Clinton, Errol (Janice); grandsons, Jervin and Jarrett; brothers, Kazuhiko, Mitsuo, Allan and Jason Tomita; sister, Gladys Michi (Carl) Tronbak. She is predeceased by her parents and brother, Gordon.
Services will be held at Ballard Family Mortuary in Kahului on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 with visitation scheduled to begin at 9:00am with a memorial service at 11:00am.
