Jason M. Kawahara, 48
Jason Mitsuaki Kawahara, 48, of Kahului, passed away unexpectedly on January 28, 2017. Services honoring Mr. Kawahara will be held at Nakamura Mortuary
on February 20, 2017. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am., with services beginning at 11:00 am. Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.
Jason was born on May 24, 1968 in Wailuku to Fumio & Joan Kawahara, he was the eldest of three boys born to the couple. He attended Maui High School, graduating in 1986. He later went on to study Liberal Arts at MCC. For the past 9 years, he has been a customer service agent with Aloha Air Cargo. Jason will be remembered as a quiet and caring man who loved spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid fisherman and diver.
Jason was predeceased by his father, Fumio Harlan Kawahara. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother, Joan Kawahara; brothers, Troy & Emmett Kawahara.
