Frances Yukino Hiwatashi, 84, of Wailuku, passed away on February 19, 2017, at Maui Memorial Medical Center in Wailuku.
Services honoring Ms. Hiwatashi will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Nakamura Mortuary. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., with service at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park.
Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.
Ms. Hiwatashi was born on December 27, 1932 in Puunene, Maui.
She was a produce wrapping department supervisor.
She was pre-deceased by her father, Kisaburo Hiwatashi; mother, Koyuki; brothers, Kiichi, Jack, Harry & George Hiwatashi and sister, Beatrice Iwasaki.
She is survived by brothers, Mac M. (Aiko) Hiwatashi and Robert T. Hiwatashi; sister, Terri M. (Ray) Suzuki; and many loving nieces and nephews.
