John Anthony Capone, 74
John Anthony Capone, talented artist passed away at home on March 18, 2017. He was a lifetime member of the Lahaina Arts Society and was the past treasurer. Before moving to Maui he managed hotels in Florida and the 1717 Alawai Complex in Honolulu. He completed High School in Bangor, Pennsylvania; he proudly served in the US Navy for three years, and later took many hospitality industry courses.
Baseball was one of his passions. He followed the Philadelphia Phillies and managed his son’s little league team.
His beloved wife of 40 years, Donna, preceded him in death by 7 months.
John leaves to cherish his memory many family members in Pennsylvania, his first wife and mother of his children, Judy Keeler; his daughter, Christina D’auria; grandchildren, Ashlee, Brandon, Tyler, Savannah, Connor, and Brooke.
The Florida family includes his son, Dean Capone; grandchildren, Nick, Gino, and Julian; and his brother, Frank Capone.
