Seichi Asami, 89
Seichi Asami, 89 of Lahaina, Maui passed away on April 24, 2017 at his residence with his son Deytyn at his side. Seichi was under the care of Islands Hospice. He was born on July 15, 1927 in Lahaina, Maui.
He retired as a Processing Supervisor from Pioneer Mill in 1989.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 9am to 10am at Maria Lanakila Catholic Church in Lahaina; with mass to begin over urn at 10am. Private family at sea burial at a later date.
Seichi is predeceased by his loving wife of 52 years, Catherine (Kahahane) Asami; survived by sons, Duane A.K. (Cheryl) Asami, Deytyn Asami; daughters, Germaine Buckner, Inez Asami; brothers, Yoshiji (Janet) Asami, Lawrence “Danny” Asami; sisters, Lillian Sada Tanji, Margaret Shige Nagasako, Doris Nobu (Stanley) Isa; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
