James Raleigh Hill, 96, of Hilo and formerly of Kihei, Maui died July 2 at the Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility.

Mr. Hill was born on November 16, 1920 in French Lick, Indiana.
He was a retired accountant and real estate broker.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Betty Francis Hill. Survived by son, Richard (Audrey) Hill of Hilo; daughter, Marian (Fred) Elliott of Santa Ana, California; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews.
