Abraham Kealaluhi Aki, 72

Abraham was a Jack of all trades and a master of many however, his greatest accomplishments in life were that as a Diesel Mechanic/Heavy Equipment Operator and a Professional Bass Player with his last group, The Samoan Subway in Florida where they were the highest paid group around. He invented the first Cherry Picker machine and later designed the first Fretless Bass Guitars.

Abraham is survived by his wife, Sandra L. Aki, Children: Magdalena Aki, Lahela Iulio, Clarence (Renee) Kamai III, Kealii (Lisa) Kamai Sr., Kai (Helena) Kamai, Lehuanani (Greg) Kamai, Aurora-Chelsy Kamai, Leialoha (John) Kalua, Leinaala (Penitito) Lemalu, Summer (Erica) Kamai-Williams, Mauloa (Anela) Kamai, Hawaii-loa (Micah) Leatualii, Eala Kamai, Kolika Kamai, Kainalu Kamai, Mary Nakooka. Siblings: William Aki, Nani (Duane) Street, Anna (Oliver) Newsome, Emily Swaba, Mahiki Lankford; 30 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Service to be held at Hale Makana O’ Waiale Community Center on August 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Potluck Celebration of Life from 11:00-2:00 p.m.
