George Flores Jr of Pearl City, Hawai'i died on Dec. 21, 2017 in Honolulu at the age of 70.
He is survived by his wife Annette Flores, children George Flores III, Frank Flores, Nani Flores Vickers, Arsena Kailihiwa, hanai children Vandale Motonaga, Charlie Ho'opi'i, Makahea Flores, Kanoe and Akela Souza.
George was born on January 9, 1947 in Wailuku, Hawai'i to George Flores Sr. and Eleanor Kekahuna Wilhelm. He graduated from St. Anthony in 1965 and married Annette Flores in 1968. After moving to Honolulu, George began working for OCCC.
A funeral is scheduled at Ballards on Friday, January 26, 2018 starting at 9am and burial at Makawao Veterans Cemetery at 11am, with a reception to follow in Wailuku.
