Haruye Imai, 94, of Wailuku, passed away on January 5, 2018 at her residence. She was born on April 14, 1923 in Paia.
Private services were held.
Haruye is survived by her son, Jerry Imai; daughters, Janice (Ronald-deceased) Kitagawa, Sharon (Raymond) Otsubo, Sharleen (David-deceased) Toyama, Aimee (Melvin) Arakawa; brother, Yuji (Lynn) Toyota; sisters-in-law, Sachi Toyota, and Yoshiko Fujiwara; 12 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Islands Hospice for their compassionate care of Haruye.
