Marina Caberto, 87

Marina Caberto, 87, of Lanai City, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2018 at Lanai Community Hospital.

Night wake honoring Marina Caberto will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Lanai Recreation Center (Old Bowling Alley). Visitation will be open to the public at 5:00pm; with novena prayer at 6:45pm and service to follow. Visitation will continue on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 7:00am and Funeral Mass to follow at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Church at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Lanai Cemetery at 11:00am.

Marina Caberto was born on January 30, 1930 in Cagayungan, Ilocos Sur, Narvacan, Philippines.

Marina Caberto leaves behind her cherished memories of a compassionate Mother, Grandmother and a brilliant Seamstress. Her specialty was making Miss Filipina Pageant Gowns and Bridal Gowns. She was survived by her children: Romeo, deceased (Lita) Caberto, Edna (George) Quiocho, Edgar (Emmie) Caberto, Ben (Marie) Caberto, Aimee Caberto, Eva (Richard) Batoon, Gina Naylor (Phillip Johnsen), Henry Caberto (deceased), Oliver Caberto. 17 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
