Bessie H. Yamashiro passed away on October 21, 2017 at her residence. She was born on September 22, 1925. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter; parents, Shigeru and Sawano Okazaki; brother, Stanley Okazaki; and sister in law, Sandra Okazaki. She is survived by sisters, Dorothea (Hideo-deceased) Komine, Nancy (Ronald) Clark, Joan (Les) Nakamura, Patsy (Albert) Wong, and Rainell (Phil) Domingo; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Nakamura Mortuary from 9:00am to 10:00am with service to begin at 10:00am; burial to follow at Maui Memorial Park at 2:00pm.
