Inez Wineland, 102
Inez Wineland, 102, of Kula, Maui passed away on April 5, 2018 at her home in Kula under the compassionate care of Hospice Maui and surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 7, 1915 in Lake City, Arkansas, the seventh of eight children born to William and Roxie Ann Crow.
Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Pukalani Baptist Church; service will begin at 2 p.m., and burial will follow at St. Johns Cemetery. Family request flowers be limited to lei only.
Inez retired from St Joseph’s Hospital where she worked as a Medical Technician. Previously she had employed in the aerospace industry, and was supervisor for the parachute recovery system for the Apollo Project.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn (Joseph) Fletcher; grandchildren, Gregory Fletcher, Mindy Fletcher-Sistar, and Iris Marselle;; great grandchildren, Isabella Fletcher, Connor Sistar, and Cameron Sistar. Inez was predeceased by her husband Orville Wineland and grandson Dr. Garret C. Fletcher.
