James H “Jesse”, “Pops” Vasquez of lahaina died on March 23, 2018. He was born on July 14, 1933 to Joseph Basques & Winifred Hanamaikai of Peahi, Maui.
Celebration of life will be at Canoe Beach April 28,10:30 a.m. Potluck.
He was a devoted dishwasher at Pacifico Restaurant in 505. Also worked at Pioneer Mill.
He is survived by his 10 sons, James Aquino, John Aquino, Jesse Vasquez, Brian Vasquez, Brennan Vasquez, Wendel Vasquez (deseased), Dominic Kaina (Leinora), Jason Kaaihue (Charlene) Kevin Kaaihue (Tanya), Alvin Kaaihue (Hoala). Daughters, Winifred Lopez, Sugar Babe Vasquez, Deedee Vasquez(Clay), & Cina Sahagun(Mano). 47 grandkids, 68 great grandkids & 2 great great grandkids. Siblings, Winifred, Maryjane, Cyrilla & twin brother Smallman.
