Kimo is survived by his longtime companion, Janet Vargas Manibog, of 16 years; his sister Joanne Mintz of California, his hanai brother Buddy (Mildred) Korkes (formerly of Kihei Maui, John Pitch & longtime friend Janice Porter. He is also survived by his hanai children, grand children and great-grand children and his beloved White Falcon Crest Australian Cockatoo “Kolohe”.

Kimo was a longtime heavy equipment operator for Jesse Spencer at Spencer Homes in Oahu & Maui, until he retired, than worked for Speedi Shuttle and Royal Cab. He enjoyed spending time at the beach, he had old-fashion cars and loved riding his Harley Motorcycle.
