Mary B. Laborte, 91

Mary B. Laborte, 91 of Lahaina, passed away on April 12, 2018 in Kahului. She was born on April 7, 1927 in Lahaina and was one of the owners of Coconut Grove Restaurant in Lahaina.

Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Maria Lanakila Catholic Church, mass to begin at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at the church cemetery.

She is survived by daughter, Yvette Laborte; sons, Franklin Laborte (Frances Burnett), Nathan (Karyn) Laborte; siblings, Susan Donnelson, Joe (Mary) Balinbin, Rudy (Pat) Balinbin; sister in-laws and brother in-laws; grandchildren, Camron, Jesse, Andrew, Dominique (Erik), Emily, Elijah, Lauryn; great-grandchildren, Jeyden and Ariana; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She is pre-deceased by her husband, Frank Holau Laborte; parents, Eusebio and Dionicia Balinbin; sister, Vivian Asio; brothers, Tony Balinbin, Alfred Balinbin, China Balinbin, Henry Balinbin and John Harry Balinbin.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Imelda Albano (caregiver), Monina Lee, the medical staff at Maui Memorial Medical Center and Hospice Maui for their compassionate care of Mary Laborte.
