Desiderio Flores Gando, 71, of Los Angeles California, passed away in Maui, Hawaii on July 15, 2018. He was born September 19, 1946 in Rosales, Pangasinan, Philippines.
He was a retired houseman at the Hyatt Regency Maui. He was preceded in death by his father, Sarafin Gando Sr. He is survived by his wife Rosalinda M. Gando; mother, Ambrocia Gando; daughter, Katherine Rose (Michael) G. Tomas; son, Emerson (Jen) Gando; brothers, Carlos (Lucy) Gando, Rolando (Flory) Gando, Serafin (Beth) Gando, Cesar - deceased (Nida) Gando, Felix (Gloria - deceased) Gando, Gandolfo (Evelyn) Gando; sisters, Rufina (Johnny) Espiritu, Rebecca (Trudio) Valdez, Rosario (Peter) Santiago, Marilou (Edgar) Mislang, Milagros (Louie) San Jose, Mindy (Jimmy) Azcueta; grandchildren, Andre Gando, Kaden Tomas, Mikayla Gando, Brianna Gando; 13 nieces, and 15 nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with service to begin at 10:00 a.m. at Maria Lanakila Church in Lahaina.
