Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Christ the King Church; mass will begin at 11:00 a.m.; burial will follow, 12:30 p.m., at Valley Isle Memorial Park Cemetery in Haiku.
Joey was an air conditioning technician at Vent Pro Hawaii. He is survived by his mother, Mely Ruiz; father, Randy (Elma) Ruiz; grandmother, Manuela Domingo; sons, Devin Ruiz, Kean Ruiz; brothers, Rolly (Tajsha) Domingo, Shaun Ruiz; uncles, Albert (Helen) Domingo, Conrado (Maria) Ruiz, Joven (Maria) Ruiz, Orlino (Evelyn) Ruiz, Arthur (Ofelia) Ruiz; aunt, Perlita (Tante) Tongson; niece, Elora; and nephew Travis.
