Peter Kengo Hedani, 82
Peter Kengo Hedani, 82, of Kula, Maui passed away peacefully on June 19, 2018 in Kihei surrounded by family while under the comforting care of Hospice Maui.
Peter was born in Wailuku and grew up in Kaheka, Maui and retired from Maui Land & Pineapple Co., Inc. as the Management Information Systems Director.
In his younger years, Peter was an active member of the Maui Jaycee, Boy Scouts, Kahului Hongwanji Mission, a National Guard Captain, and later a Hawaii State Junior Golf Association member.
Peter is survived by his wife Sharon L. Okada, sons Shane Hedani, Blaine Hedani of Honolulu, daughters Mona (Jason) Takara of Honolulu, and Elyse Okada of Los Angeles. Brothers James (Deborah) Hedani and Wayne (Kay) Hedani of Wailuku, six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, July 14, 2018 with visitation from 10:00am to 11:00am, at Kahului Hongwanji Mission, 291 S. Puunene Ave., Kahului.
