George Sueo Abe, 84

Services honoring Mr. Abe will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Wailuku. Visitation will begin at 9:00am, and service at 10:00am. Mr. Abe will be laid to eternal rest at a later date.

George was born on November 29, 1933 to Mr. Shinzo and Mrs. Mura Abe, in Kula, HI. George enjoyed being employed at Kubo Services, Global Construction, Endo Painting, Pineapple Express and Maui Land and Pineapple, where he retired as the By Products Supervisor. He proudly served in the Army National Guard for 24 ½ years. When he wasn’t working he enjoyed golfing, being with friends, volunteering at the American Cancer Society, Boy Scouts of America and his Church. Most importantly, he cherished time with family and friends.

George leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 21 years, Jeanne K. Abe; daughters, Debbie (Ralph) Ajifu, Kelly (Alan) Manibog, and Stacie (Eric) Kawaguchi; step-sons, James (Yvette) Kurokawa, and Kirk (Karla) Kurokawa; sister, Miyoko Hashizume; brother, Satoru (Gertrude) Nishida; and 11 grandchildren.
