Services over urn will be held, Friday, Nov. 9, 2018 at Faith Family Maui Church (formerly known as the Rose of Sharon), 420 North Wakea Ave. Kahului. Visitation 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Service at 7:00 pm.

He is survived by his wife, Delphine Lehuanani Plunkett Kaiwi, sons Michael Jr., Jeremiah, step son, Kai Nohea Hoopai, step daughter Melecia-Kim Hoopai. Granddaughter, Angel Rebecca Noelani Kaiwi & step grandchildren: Kaimana James Hoopai, Serenity Kanoelehuanani Hoopai, Nishioka and Kamakoa Aukai Hoopai Nishioka. Sister: Rachel Moana Kaiwi Kekona Brother, Jesse Takamiyama Kuhaulua Mother in Law, Verna Haunani Plunkett (James deceased) numerous nieces and nephews, and his loving dog, Ipo.
