Harry Toshio Nakamoto, 79, of Kahului, Maui, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2019 at his residence.
Services honoring Mr. Nakamoto were held privately by family.
Harry was born on December 9, 1939 to Mr. Tsuneo and Mrs. Kiyoko Nakamoto in Puunene, Maui. Harry served proudly as a Merchant Mariner for the Unites States Coast Guard. He worked hard to provide for his family and took pride in knowing they were taken care of. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed fishing, boating, and tending to his garden, but most importantly, spending time with friends and family.
Harry Nakamoto leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Luisa Nakamoto; sister, Patricia Chee; and brother Francis (Katherine) Nakamoto.
