Richard L. Woods, 81, of Lahaina was born November 3rd, 1937 in Springfield, IL. He passed away peacefully on March 9th, 2019 at Hale Makua in Wailuku.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Nellie Woods. He had many hobbies that bought him joy such as boating (he was a 25-year member of San Diego Yacht Club), wood working and computer technology. Richard moved to San Diego after high school to join the Marines and then had a career in regulatory compliance for his only two employers, Transamerica and Pt Loma Federal Credit Union.
Richard requested no services and his ashes will be scattered at a future date.
