Esteban Villanueva Castro, 93, of Wailuku had peacefully passed away on Saturday, April 6th, 2019. He was born in San Esteban, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He retired as a landscaper at Maui Surf Hotel; currently the Westin Maui Resort & Spa; and Kapalua Bay Hotel, currently the Montage Kapalua Bay. He was predeceased by his two sons Narciso and Esteban Castro Jr.
Watching down on us, he will continue to live in the hearts of his loving wife, Timotea Castro; sons, Domingo Castro, Romeo (Rowie) Castro, Miguel Castro, Darwin (Tammie) Castro; daughters, Martina (Nemy) Guerrero, Erlinda (Ludivino) Pagaduan; 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great- grandchild.
Visitation will be held at Nakamura Mortuary in Wailuku, on Saturday, April 26, 2019, at 6:00 pm with prayer service to begin at 7:30 pm. Services will continue on Saturday, April 27th, 2019 at Nakamura Mortuary at 9:00 am with service to begin at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Maui Memorial Park at 10:30 am.
