Kincaid Biga Kupahu Sr., 58

Kincaid Biga Kupahu Sr. also known as Uncle King, 58 of Kihei, Maui passed away on August 6, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 17, 1961 in Ewa Beach, Oahu.

Kincaid served in the US Navy. Later worked for the Sugar Cane Train in Lahaina, Maui. He played music at Montage Canoes, Kaananapli Beach Hotel Tiki Terrace, Napili Kai Seahouse Restaurant, Napili Kai Foundation and he played with various groups, entertainers and Halau’s.

Kincaid is predeceased by his parents, Henry I. Kupahu Sr. and Francis B. Kupahu; father-in-law, Peter M. Kaina Jr.; daughter, Krystlene Kupahu; grandson, Casey Kahalewai Kahahane Amaral Dechaine Thompson-Kaina Kupahu ; sister, Ryces Bilan; brothers, James “Kimo” Kupahu, Henry “Porky” Kupahu Jr. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Kupahu; children, Kyrie-Ann Kupahu (La’akea Cravalho) of Kihei, Kincaid Kupahu Jr. (Cheyenne Thompson) of Las Vegas; grandson, Iokualanakila and Iomakalanakila Cravalho-Kupahu; sisters, Verna Biga of Lahaina, Phyllis (Don) Rosenthal of Vancouver, WA, Cheyenne Kaina (Albert) of Lahaina; brother, Daniel Basques (Joanne) of Kahului; in-laws, Darlene and Burton Tamarra of Las Vegas, NV; many nieces, nephews, and numerous extended families.

Celebration of Life will be held on September 7, 2019 at Wahikuli Beach Park One Way from 10:00 a.m. to sunset.
