Kiyoko Suzuki, 92

Kiyoko Suzuki, 92, of Pukalani passed away at her residence under the care of Islands Hospice on July 19, 2019. Kiyoko was born on December 19, 1926.

Loving mother, grandma, sister, aunty, friend to many.

She is survived by her sons, Clyde Suzuki of Pukalani, Miles (Cheryl) Suzuki of Ewa Beach; daughter, Faith (Garret) Tom of Waikele; grandchildren, Aaron Tom, Christopher Suzuki, Rachel Suzuki; brothers, Takeji Nihei, Akio (Kinue) Nihei; sister in laws, Stephanie Yayoshi, Sandra Suzuki; brother in law, Roy Fujii. Many numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Kiyoko graduated from Maui High School, Class of 1944. She worked as a seamstress for many years at Ikeda’s and later as a housekeeper at Hale Makua. She was also a full time Homemaker for her family. Mom was always thoughtful of others and always put them before herself. She enjoyed cooking and was an excellent cook. She also enjoyed swing, watching, U.H. football, baseball, basketball and volleyball. She also liked watching game shows, Japanese T.V. shows and being a member of Paia Mantokoji Soto Mission Fujin-Kai. Services honoring will be held on August 25, 2019 at Paia Mantokuji Soto Mission with visitation at 10:00am and service to begin at 11:00am.
