Emiliana Valdez Garcia, 97, of Paia, passed away on December 17, 2019 at her residence. She was born on October 4, 1922 in San Juan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines.
Visitation 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Holy Rosary Church, Paia, Mass 11 a.m., and burial 12:30 p.m. at Valley Isle Memorial Park.
Emiliana worked as a field worker at Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Company.
She is survived by sons, Martin (Sylvia) Garcia, Feliciano (Josefina) Garcia, Carlos (Adela) Garcia, Gerardo "Gerry" Garcia, Jimmy (Catalina) Garcia, Robert (Myrna) Garcia, Isidro (Sally) Garcia; daughter, Saturnina "Nina" (Dave) Stroberg; daughter-in-law, Imelda (Domingo-deceased) Garcia; 21 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
