Primitiva “Eva” Macasieb Villanueva, 89

Primitiva “Eva” Maca-sieb Villanueva, 89 of Kula, Maui peacefully passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019. She was born in the Philippines on November 27, 1930 to the late Diego Macasieb and Victoria Soriano.

Primitiva is survived by her children, Virginia (Miguel) Galima of Pahoa, Hawaii, Carlito (Soledad) Villanueva of Pahoa, Hawaii, Letecia (Renato) Ventanilla of Kahului, Maui, Emilia (Marcos) Muerong of Pahoa, Hawaii, Marilyn (Rodolfo) Cera of Pahoa, Hawaii, Renato (Gina) Villanueva of Pahoa, Hawaii, Precila (Gilbert) Agpaoa of Pahoa, Hawaii, Lilia (Wayne) Nakata of Wailuku, Maui, Lorena (Mannette) Carino of Kahului, Maui; nephew, Roberto (Tessie) Macasieb of Keaau, Hawaii; 31 grandchildren; and 38 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Gavino Villanueva; and son, Artemio Villanueva.

Services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Pahoa Sacred Heart Church in Pahoa, Hawaii. All are welcome to attend at 6:00 p.m. to give your condolences to Primitiva’s family. Services will continue on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Pahoa Sacred Heart Church. Visitation to begin at 9:00 a.m. with Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow concluding services at Pahoa Sacred Heart Cemetery.
