Adrian “Ronnie” Kaalakea, 71 of Kahului, Maui, passed away on February 5, 2020, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on September 15, 1948 in Hana, Maui.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 28, 2020, at Ballard Family Mortuary; service will begin at 11:00 a.m.; burial will follow, 1:00 p.m., at the Maui Veteran's Cemetery in Makawao.
Adrian was retired Heavy Equipment Operator at Selland Construction, Inc.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Shirley Ann Kaalakea.
He is survived by his children, Adrienne "Nani" Kaalakea, Kalvin "K-Boy" Kaalakea(Glorie), Shirlynne "Lala" Cruz (Allan); siblings, Erlene "Noe" Kenolio, Lorna "Lei" Garcia (Manny) Geraldine "Geri" Edlao; 13 grandchildren, Kawika, Sam, Terena, Ikaika, Shaileya, Lexiejade, Jayla, Karsten, Kendra-Rae, Kayven, Alkapone, Alycia, Alexis; 10 great grandchildren; hanai children Jared “Keola” Kauhaahaa (Chandi), Arnelle “Kanoe” Hapakuka-Lono(Tyson), Chalsea Vellina (Peter); and numerous nieces & nephews.
