Mary M. Tendo, 90 of Wailuku passed away on January 28, 2020. She was born on March 1, 1929 to Manuel and Mary Martins. She was raised in Ulumalu and was the youngest of nine children.
Mary was a wonderful wife and mother who always put her family first. She cherished spending time with her family and dear friends. Mary was an avid reader. She enjoyed crocheting gifts throughout her life.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Raymond M. Tendo Sr. She will be deeply missed by her surviving children; daughter, Arlene Tendo (Manny); sons, Raymond Tendo Jr. (Ivy), James Tendo and Lester Tendo; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Ellen Franco.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park.
