Moki had passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2020. He was born in Hilo, Hawaii on December 13, 1943 to the late Virgil Emmitt Day, Sr. & Apolonia Day. He was a Hawaiian Activist and he was a Vice President of the Pele Defense Fund.
He will continue to live in the hearts of his wife, Charmaine Kailipaka-Day; daughter, Amy Day; son, Patrick Day; 3 brothers, 1 sister; 4 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Hale Pili in Kahikinui on March 8, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until pau. Family requests to bring one happy memory of Uncle Moki.
