Lin C. Watanabe, age 58, of Kahului, Maui, Hawaii passed away on May 22, 2020.
She worked at Foodland Kihei and was a licensed seafood distributor. Founder of Watanabe Taiko, she was passionate about sharing taiko music and the obon tradition.
Lin is survived by her parents, Albert and Amy Watanabe; sister Kay (Ronald) Fukumoto; her companion of 35 years Brian Kasahara; and nephew Mitchell Fukumoto.
Due to travel restrictions, a "Celebration of Lin" service will be held in the future and announced by the family at that time.
