Edgar “Edjah” Morton, Jr., 60

On Monday, January 18, 2021, Edgar passed away peacefully at home in Wailuku under Islands Hospice Maui care.

He was born in Hono-lulu on November 21, 1960 to Edgar Morton, Jr. and mamo Kaiwi Morton. He was raised in Waihe’e, Maui.

Edgar’s journey with Stage 4 lung cancer started in mid 2017 and ended on January 18, 2021.

He is survived by his wife, Corinne Morton. Daughters, Chassidy Morton (Joshua Aquino) Wailuku, HI; Elisha Bacos, Henderson, NV; and son, Kahai Morton (Haiku) Wailuku, HI. Grandchildren: Kamaile Morton, Ehukai Keomaka, Micah Aquino, Hawika Pua, Le’a Le’a (Kaulu) Pua, Lawakua Morton, and Haweo Morton, all from Wailuku, HI.

He is also survived by his siblings; brother, Kau’i (Shalia) Keahi and sister, Marian DeMello (John DeMello, Jr.).

Edgar loved working construction…that was his passion. He loved his family, and enjoyed kicking back watching TV and drinking his beer.

Services will be held at In His House of Res-toration Church located at 63 La’a St., Kahului (Kehalani) with scattering of ashes at a later time. Services will start at 10am-12 noon. Covid-19 protocol will be enforced. Drive-by services will be available outside.
