Mitsuo Wallace Harada, 91
Mitsuo Wallace Harada, 91, died unexpectedly at Hospice Maui Hale in Wailuku, after a short illness on April 3, 2021.
Mitsuo was born January 4, 1930 in Happy Valley, Wailuku, Maui. He graduated from Baldwin High School in 1948. After graduation, he enlisted in the service, and was a Korean War Veteran.
He was survived by his wife, Kathleen Harada, Son, Clifford Harada, Daughter, Carol Harada, 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, daughter in law, Nora, Sister, Helen Saiki and many nieces and nephews.
After serving in the Korean War, he got married and moved to the mainland for 33 years. He retired early and was able to move back to Maui. Wally was truly a landscape gardener. He loved his work and when he came back to Maui, all his friends wanted him to do yard work for them. He did a lot of volunteer work and so many people will miss him.
Private services are being held by family. He is requesting that his ashes be scattered in the ocean at a later date. “May God Bless You”.
