Bruce Merrill Berkeley of Wailuku, Maui, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Maui Hospice surrounded by family and friends.
Private services will be held.
Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
Bruce was born in Topeka, Kansas, on May 20, 1950. He served in the Navy in Groton, Connecticut before moving to Portland, Oregon where he worked as a Systems Contractor. Maui had been his home for the last 20 years, working as an Information Systems Analyst with County of Maui, MPD.
He leaves behind his son, Joshua; grand-daughter, Madison; brother, Dave; and sister; Ann Bernard.
Bruce enjoyed long bike rides throughout Maui's beautiful landscape, listening to music, and doting over his pets. He was a wonderful husband to his late wife Sherry and a proud father to his son. His love for his granddaughter was im-measurable. Bruce loved the Lord and looked forward to joining his wife in heaven. He will be greatly missed.
