Michael Edward Smith, of Kula, Maui went to heaven on January 6, 2022. He was born on October 19, 1948 in Waukegan, Illinois.
Mike loved life and making people laugh. He was proud to be a veteran and Dale Earnhardt fan.
Michael is survived by his longtime companion Annie Lopes of Kula; dad and stepmom, Jim & Dixie Spahr of Florida; and sisters, Pam Smith-Bertison of Florida, Michele Smith-Tame of Indiana, and Tami (Steve) Poque of Florida.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Vernamae Spahr, and father, Eugene Edward Smith.
His service will be held at Maui Veterans Cemetery on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
