Amy was born in Wailuku, Maui on December 26, 1931 to the late Robert and Yuri Yoshizawa. She worked at her dad's paint shop in Wailuku, Roberts Hawaii, Hawaiian Airlines and Kahului Airport as a supervisor for the Visitor Information Program.
Amy is survived by her daughter Phyllis (Richard) Arase, sons Randall (Dannette) Silva, David (Debbie) Silva, Paul (Tracy) Silva, and Mark (Rachel) Silva. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
