Wendy Moanalani Akima, 61, of Wailuku, Maui passed away on March 2, 2022 at Maui Memorial Meical Center. She was born on August 23, 1960 in Wailuku.
Wendy is survived by her husband, James Harrison Akima; daughters, Malia Okamo-to and Kaulana Suggs; grandchildren, Hunter, Sofia and Colton; father, Clarence Suggs; siblings; Linda (Mark) Hawkins, Sondi (Dave) Lopes, Bryce (Carmela "Dolly") Suggs and Kye (Eric) Roan.
She is predeceased by her mother, Eleanor Martin.
Private scattering of her ashes will be held at a later date.
