Magadalena Long-gat Tacang passed away peacefully at home on March 14, 2022. She was born in Bacarra, IlocosNorte, Philippines.
She is survived by her children, Teresita (Luis) Gaoiran, Steve (Zeny) Tacang Sr., Remigio (Magarita) Tacang, Chester (Tessie) Tacang, Maximino Tacang, and Edgardo (Mary Jane) Tacang; grandchildren, Cheryl (Kulu) Callos, Louie (Estrelita) Gaoiran, Jack (Jaszmine) Tacang, Jeanifer Tacang, Steve (Angela) Tacang, Jr., Remedios Tabieza, Misty Dawn (Tyr) Fox, Jason (Cecilia) Donato, Rose (Daniel) Tacang, Zachariah Tacang, Chad Tacang, Randy (Michelle) Tacang, Randall Tacang, Melody (CharityRose) Tacang, Ashley (Kelly) Sipe, Creighton (Codi) Tacang and Shyann (Ben) Lazo; 27 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Nakamura Mortuary at 5:00pm with service at 7:00 pm. Continued visitation will be on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Christ the King Church from 9:15 am with mass at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Maui Memorial Park.
