Jonah Keawekuloa Nakila, 65 of Hailiimaile. Died April 6, 2022. He was born on Oct. 8, 1957 to Andrew H. Nakila, Sr. and BettyLou R.E. Nakila of Nanakuli, Oahu.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryleilani (Kemfort) Nakila. He has 8 children: Charlie Nakila, Keonilei Nakila, Sarah Nakila and Bettylou Nakika of Haliimaile, Kuuleilani (Don) Duque of Lahaina, Iwalani Davis, Jonah Davis, John Maui Davis of Nanakuli. His brothers, George (Trixie) Nakila of Nanakuli. Andrew H. Nakila Jr. (deceased) and Pauline of Hilo, Hawaii. Sisters; Sharon (Ron) Henard of Colorado Springs, Gail (Pete) Morris of Massachuttes, Eileen (Ka'apuni) Meyers of Nanakuli.
Jonah retired from the County of Maui Central Landfill as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He was an Amazing, Lov-ing, Father, Husband, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend. He will be truly missed.
Services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022, at Nakamura Mortuary in Wailuku from 10:00am to 11:00am with service to begin at 11:00am.
