Marlene Maile Kaahui, 79
Marlene Maile Kaahui, of Kihei, Maui passed away on July 28, 2022, surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Hospice Maui. She was born to Christopher Cockett and Roseline Paahana on April 22, 1943, in Lahaina, Maui.
Marlene worked and owned Olowalu Store, after many years of her hard work she retired.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 20, 2022, at DT Flemmings beginning at 11:00am.
Marlene is survived by her children, Melanie (Buff) Nakoa, Christopher John Kaahui, Kurt Alexander (Jeanne) Kaahui; grandchildren, Piilani Uyeda (Robyn), Jaiana Uyeda (Sergio), Cheylah Marie Uyeda, Makani Ward Kaahui; great grandchildren, Ha-ley Uyeda-Heidenfelt, Kamealoha Lanoza-Uyeda, Konahao Lanoza-Uyeda, Hunter Uyeda-Juarez, Keali’i Lanoza-Uyeda, Keolamaikalani Lanoza-Uyeda, Channing Nakoa-Williams, Kamahinahaena Lanoza-Uyeda; Siblings, MaryAnn Gomes (Robert), Shirley “Nani” Paahana Lake, Kenui Cockett (Joanne), Peter Cockett (Belinda), LouAnn Hano and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents, Christopher Cockett and Roseline Paahana; brother, Paul Cockett; grandsons, Kelsi Kaahui and Chanse Uyeda.
