Mateialona Latuselu Tuitupou, 63

He was born in Lapaha, Tonga on February 12th 1959 to Latuselu and Tauhakau Tuitupou. He is survived by his beloved wife Loisi Latuselu, and has 8 beautiful children, Nikolasi Latuselu (New Zealand), Tuilahina Fakatava (Tonga), Tonga Latuselu (Australia), Kuhao Latuselu (Rip) (Maui), Christine Latuselu (Maui), Eric Latuselu (Tonga), Sakopo Latuselu and Kilisitina Latuselu (Maui). Mateialona has 10 grandchildren, Wysemyn Kuhao Latuselu, (Maui) Fehi Jr (Tonga), Peter Julian, Eric Jr, Fatima Jr, Mateialona Jr, Kelekolio, Bernadette (Australia), Caitlyn and Daniel (Tonga). He is also survived by his 4 sisters, Masina Talakai (Tonga), Sitela Filimoehala (New Zealand), Tuilahina Halaholo (New Zealand) and Atu McClancy (Maui).

He was very hardworking, driven and passionate in everything he did. He was always caring, thoughtful and a man of God. He loved everyone very much.

Mateialona is remembered for his love of family, kind generosity, natural joy and abundant love for everyone he met. He will be dearly missed by those who love him.

Funeral Services will be held at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Kihei on Wednesday October 12th from 5pm to 10pm. Burial will be on Thursday October 13th at 12:30pm at Maui Memorial Park.
