Wilkens “Kaji” “Fat” Kajihiro, 59
Wilkens “Kaji” “Fat” Kajihiro was a devoted son, father, grandpa, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He passed away unexpectedly on September 06, 2022 at his residence.
On July 5, 1963 Fat/ Kaji was born to Virgie Kajihiro and Wilkens “Jackie Jack” Ka’auamo in Wailuku, Maui. He is a graduate of Lahainaluna High School. He was always giving anything and everything he could. He was such a humble and quiet guy with a big heart. He loves to surf, spend time with his grandkids, working, or just cruising doing his own thing. Family was always first for him.
Services will be held at Nakamura Mortuary on October 15, 2022. Family viewing will be at 5pm and open to the public at 6pm. Services will start at 7pm. Cremation to follow. Scattering of his ashes will be announced at a later date.
He is survived by his mom Virgie Kajihiro, his dad Jackie Jack Ka’auamo, his children Shantel Kajihiro Sunio (Gary), Ikaika Avilla (Elana), and Kekoa. His grandchildren Gerzell, Gliya, Gnaia, Gynell Sunio, Javan and Anela Avilla. Siblings Jimmy Boy Ka’auamo, Radford Ka’auamo, Richard Kajihiro Jr., Kimmy To’ofohe (Muli), and loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
