Samson Kahakauwila, of Kahului, passed away on January 8, 2023 at his home. He was born on March 4, 1950 in Honolulu.
Visitation will be held from 6p.m. to 9p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2023, at Ballard Family Mortuary, memorial service will begin at 7:15p.m.
Samson retired from Fongs Construction Company where he worked as a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his wife, Terry Kahakauwila; children, Karissa (Jim) Kaeo, Garrett (Shannon Torres) Kahakauwila, and Heidi (Wayne Alvior) Kahakauwila; brother, David "Sonny" Kahakauwila (Nancy-deceased), sisters, Noella (Kyle) Ito, and Melinda Kahakauwila; sisters-in-law, Leila Kawano (Gary-deceased), and Millie (Boysie) Septimo; 7 grandchildren, Kalena, Kailana, Dustin, Shaestan, Shaela, Shaenaia, and Thor.
