Hideo Takeuchi of Kahului, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2022, at home.
He was predeceased by his parents Matsuo & Momoyo Kanai Takeuchi, brother Minoru "Bill" Takeuchi and granddaughter Jodi Takeuchi Ishikawa.
He is survived by his wife Tomoe Takeuchi; sons Thomas (Gail) Takeuchi, Troy (Kay) Takeuchi; daughter Michelle (Randy) Nakama; brothers Charles (Luci) Takeuchi & Masami (Pearl) Takeuchi; sisters Thelma Kiyonaga and Lillian Ching; grandchildren: Ashley (Johnny) Mavrakis, Tyson, Taylor & Tiffany; great grandchildren; Marin & Mikino Ishikawa.
Private services were held. The family requests no koden. Donations in his memory may be made to Hospice Maui or Wailuku Shingon Mission.
