Caren Gohara, 95

Born in Kihei, she was a retired clerk stenographer for the East Maui Irrigation Company and a member of Makawao Hongwanji.

Private services were held. No koden or flowers requested.

She is survived by daughters, Cary (Calvin) Hayashi of Pahoa and Lauren Gohara of New York; sister Lynne (Kenneth) Enoki of Mililani; and grand-daughter, Sara Hayashi (Tyler Yee) of Lihue.

She was preceded in death by her husband George Gohara; brothers, Richard, Kazumi, Satoshi and Fumio Kimitsuka; and sisters, Mariane Mishina, Hanae Yoneda, Milly Fujimura and Carole Eaton.
