Barbara Jean Eberly, 78
Barbara Jean Eberly, of Kahului, Maui, passed away on April 23, 2023 at Maui Hospice Hale surrounded by her children.
Barbara was born on July 4, 1944 in Honolulu.
She spent over 35 years in the restaurant industry, ending as Restaurant Manager of Columbia Inn until its eventual closing.
After moving to Maui in 2000, she worked at Aloha Airlines.
In retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family and socializing with her friends.
She will be remembered for her dedication to her community and her countless hours volunteering for various organizations.
Being a grandmother to her 13 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren was her greatest joy.
She is predeceased by her oldest son, Buddy Eberly. She is survived by her children, Lionel (Diane) Rodrigues, Japana (Bret) Bruneman and Val Martin; grandchildren BJ, Maile, Ikaika, Kalei, Kerry, Kimberly, Samantha, Shane, Stuart, Brooke, Paige and Blake; and 7 great-grandchildren.

A service over urn will be held on Monday, August 21, 2023 from 10:30a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; with service to begin at 11:30a.m. at Ballard Family Mortuary in Kahului.
