Benjamin Ines passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, June 3, 2023.
He was born on September 7, 1943 in Sinait Ilocos Sur, Philippines to the late Teodoro and Segunda Ines.
He worked for various companies such as Maui Surf, Kobe Japanese Steak House, and finally retiring from Kapalua Land & Company, Landscaping Maintenance Department in 2007.
He loved spending time with his grandchildren. They were his greatest joy. He is so loved, and will be sorely missed.
Services will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023 at 6pm to 9pm at Ballard Family Mortuary. Funeral Service on Saturday, July 1, 2023 9am to 1pm at Ballard Family Mortuary. Burial to follow at 2pm at Valley Isle Memorial Park, Haiku.
He is survived and loved by his wife of 58 years, Marina; children Dora (Danny) Tesoro, Benmar “Nilo” Ines, Edgar (Rochelle) Ines, & Jolynn (Casey) Smythe; grandchildren: Ivan Dane (Jason) & Jordan Duane (Alaiza) Tesoro, Kylie Shea & Nyles Chase Ines, Kierra Ahleiyna Marie Ines-Baraoidan, Kaesten-Bailey Smythe and Kyder-Chansen Smythe; great-grandchildren Liam-Ryan, Brielle-Madisyn and Arielle-Jade Tesoro, Ysabelle Hera, Laila Harper & Grady Clyde; and brother: Santiago (Matilda) Ines.
He is predeceased by his parents, Teodoro & Segunda Ines; and brother, the late Bernardo (Melchora) Ines.
