Harold Hiroshi Yoshida, 94, of Hilo died June 12, 2023 at his home.
Born in Honolulu on August 26, 1928, he was a retired postmaster at the Pahala Post Office and a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by wife, Naomi Yoshida of Hilo; sons, Keith (Yumiko) Yoshida of Pahoa, Scott (Lynn) Yoshida of Pearl City, and Jay (Jerelyn) Yoshida of Keaau; daughter, Nona (Rick) Johnson of Kahului; sisters, Edith Kanda of California, and Dorothy Kusumoto of Honolulu; 13 grandchildren,19 great-grand-children, four great-great-grand-children, and numerous nieces and nephews.
