Susumu Takemoto, of Makawao, Maui died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.
Susumu was employed with Maui Land & Pineapple after serving in the Army during WWII. He retired in 1988 and lived a hard working and quiet life until his passing.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Megumi Takemoto; and is survived by his son, Jeff (Karen); and daughter, Iris (Wesley) Imamura; 3 grandsons, 2 great grandsons, and a great granddaughter.
Jeff and Iris would like to thank his caregivers, Mary Baga and Pamela Shimokawa, for their loving care. Also, Hospice Maui for their excellent care.
Private services were held and our family requests no koden.
