Jeanette Buxton, 94

Jeanette Margaret Buxton 94, formerly Jeanette Cook, of Maui, Hawaii and Oakland, Oregon died gently in the care of her family with support from Hospice Maui on August 31, 2023. Jeanette was born April 6,1929 to Richard and Henrietta (Wanstall) Braithwaite in Dobbs Ferry, New York. She was an accomplished musician, cherished friend and passionate supporter of educational and environmental causes. She is survived by husband B. Anthony Buxton of Oregon, 3 daughters, Mary Saunders, Maggie (Billy) Welker and Theresa Cook, one son, Richard Cook and predeceased by 2 sons Joseph and Daniel Cook. She is also survived by many grand, great-grand, and great, great-grandchildren. Her ashes will be interred at a small private ceremony.
